Ending abuse.
Empowering survivors.

Survivor. Fighter. Advocate.

No one deserves to feel less-than, discarded, or alone. But after I was sexually abused by a church employee/volunteer for four years, that’s exactly how I felt. Now I make sure others have the kind of support I needed then by championing changes in sexual assault laws to help fellow survivors, holding institutions accountable for the ways their environments may have contributed to assault, and protecting children.

Helping survivors thrive.

Trauma has, undoubtedly, shaped my life, but it does not define it. Today, I work to support other survivors in their journey to heal and be heard.

“I realized that God is angry for what happened to me, he’s angry that this person chose to do this. He’s angry at the response, and I have a right to be angry, too.”
